Your Vehicle's Identification Number (VIN) is like its fingerprint - completely unique to your car. This number reveals your car's specific features, specifications, and manufacturer details, providing almost all the information we need to start your car repair.

Vehicle Documents: The VIN can be found on the vehicle's registration, insurance card, or title.

Dashboard: Look for the small metal plate on the driver's side of the dashboard, near the windshield.

Driver's Side Door: Open the driver's side door and check the door frame's edge.

Under the Hood: For some vehicles, the VIN can be found under the hood, near the engine.

A drop off appointment means you are ready to hand your car over to Caliber to repair your vehicle. Your insurance has been notified that Caliber is your repair shop of choice. An estimate appointment is needed if you aren't ready to get your vehicle repaired just yet. This could be because you are wanting more clarity around the repair process or are needing to provide an estimate to your insurance carrier first.

It depends on the type of damage your vehicle has:

Glass Appointment: Schedule this if your vehicle has damage limited to the glass - like a chipped or cracked windshield, side window, or rear window - with no other body damage.

Collision Appointment: Choose this if your vehicle has any body damage, such as dents, scratches, broken parts, or if the glass damage occurred during an accident. This includes situations where both glass and body repairs are needed.

Non-drivable instances could include, but are not limited to, inability to steer, broken lights, leaking fluids, and feeling unsafe driving the vehicle.
